U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) yesterday took to the Senate floor to advocate for the elimination of the wind Production Tax Credit (PTC). The zombie-like PTC has been extended eight times over 22 years. According to the U.S. Congress Joint Committee on Taxation, another extension of the PTC would cost taxpayers more than $13 billion over the next ten years.
