U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) yesterday took to the Senate floor to outline his opposition to the Water Resources and Development Act conference report. Flake expressed concerns with the new process by which federally-funded projects would be authorized under the bill.
"Just because something isn't driven by earmarks doesn't mean it's good for taxpayers," said Flake.
